I watched about half a minute of that 'Let's Play' and then downloaded the game and tried to play it.
I gave up very quickly since I'm not good at that sort of game, and I lost interest.

so Sherclop Pones and SoGreatAndPowerful made a song about one of my favorite artist's OCs and I've been listening to it a lot the last couple days

though I seem to be alternating from sleeping ~6 hours to sleeping ~14+ hours so maybe I'm the opposite of the character

Honestly, it's much more painful listening to American voice actors trying to pronounce Japanese character names. I don't have a problem with Katakana-English.

Oh don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to knock anyone or anything. There have been several times in various animes where I was blown away at the english that was spoken. I know my half assed attempts at Japanese would pale in comparison. Then again, we can't all be Antonio Banderas in The Mambo Kings (he didn't speak English at the time, he learned his lines phonetically)

I should also explain that I'm simply FASCINATED watching stories I already know in different language dubs. You have REALLY seen Escape from New York until you've watched a German dub of it.

More fan content and projects!

The short fanimation Snowdrop is premiering tonight at 8pm Eastern time.

A fanimation based on the fic Through the Eyes of Another Pony has put up some storyboarding set to audio to give a sense of what they're going for.

Kevin Levinie, currently the creative director for Bioshock Infinite, just did a reading for a short Bioshock/Pony crossover fic. Part of a series of "Untold Stories of Rapture" he's doing leading up to the game's launch.

ClaviSound created a genuine, NES-capable chiptune OST for a non-existent Daring Do game.
