Also, the last few new episodes won't be airing until the 19th. Just though I'd mention that for those that don't already know. |

Discord doesn't use emacs OR vim.
or gedit
He writes all of his code in Micro$oft Word, just to mess with the people who will be trying to use it.
Occasionally, he needs to edit something from the terminal. When that time comes, he uses nano
....directly on the .docx files _________________ butts |

I used to love Gedit, but having moved away from Gnome now I like medit for my Linux-based text editing needs. It doesn't draw in nearly as many dependencies, but it's still nicer than Leafpad/Mousepad. Despite being really lightweight it still has tabs, syntax highlighting, a file browser, just about the only thing I wish it had was a way to set Windows line endings as default. Plus it has a really nice "dark" theme that just happens to work great with the customized theme I tend to use in Xfce.
Medit needs a pony mascot.
*edit* I feel like I've found the Ur-source of all those grimdark fics. |

| That episode was very episode-like, which I actually enjoyed. Not everything needs to be an epic save-the-kingdom emergency (just save-the-farm, apparently). |
