| Been researching hipster fashion and realized just how accurate Ariel as a hipster really is. She wouldn't even have to change her haphazard fashion sense to fit in. |

She does but nobody knows how to give her a stereotype without being horrifyingly racist.
At least I assume nobody knows, I asked earlier and nobody has mentioned it since. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

She's a workaholic and overly serious throughout most of the movie. Part of the whole 'falling in love with the prince' bit revolves around her managing to loosen up enough to actually have fun.
While raver is a totally fun concept, it's about the opposite of her natural personality. |

I've actually been putting some thought into this and I just can't wrap my brain around the idea of ANY Disney princess being an outright bully. Also I didn't picture her as particularly pushy about her beliefs... maybe a little judgmental of others, but the quiet lofty sort. |
