Okay Sam, now you have to tell the full story because I have never actually forgiven will ferrel for that view of his ass in that one terrible college party movie.

Nothing much to it, Man vs. Wild just had a special episode with will ferrell on it and will is just weirded out half the time he's playing along with grylls' jumpy runny herb gathering whatever

I'm trying to decide if this is a random non-sequitur, or if you don't know what moral relativism is.

Oh, okay.

And Thy: Thanks for answering my question. I'm not familiar with your past interactions so I'm refraining from commenting on them, not trying to ignore you.

Yes.

And yes I know exactly what it means. I still can't tell if you do.

I've just read and re-read this thread several times, I'm not sure if the rolling waves of nausea are from the thread or perhaps the large amount of self-medicating I did last night. Either way it's good to see the 'fest a bit more lively again.

Bear Grylls. Training idiots to die in the wild.

There were two incidents reported so far where kids got separated from their parents and immediately went tearing off into the wild, citing Bear as their influence in learning how to survive. They both imperiled themselves! One of the children was running around thinking that the appropriate strategy was to tear up pieces of his rain gear and leave them as 'markers'. He was lost for quite a while before they found him!

If you are going to take your kid into the wild, please teach them Hug-A-Tree and buy them an emergency whistle!

Amen to that. Epirbs are your friend if you are a serious trekker.

Good thing they survived, or Bear Grylls might actually feel guilty.

It is good they survived because it is bad when children die. No less.

dazed, I am not going to lie, you said 'trekker' and I immediately got my hopes up that we'd start talking about Star Trek. Then I realized I'm silly.

Not to mention, 'parental overhyping' has nothing to do with any of the stories I mentioned!

I am frankly shocked that anyone watches Man Vs. Wild for any reason other than the urine drinking.
