I think Survival Man is much more deserving of respect but he does all his own camera work and the effect just isn't as good.

His show is not intended to unnecessarily risk his life for your entertainment.

I know it's cool and popular to hate on others nowadays, but the man has a wife and kids. He's not a foolhardy idiot.

Thy - I think they have stopped the nonsense but a big problem with Grylls is that he wasn't even doing the work that it looked like he was doing: Build a shelter? I'll sit back while 6 men do it for me and just edit it to look like I did it. Actually stay there? No, I don't think so especially when there is this nice hotel over here...
