I wonder if Seymour might be given pause, to wonder if even a Devil creature deserved what appears to have been an agonizing death.
Of course, it may come back to life as soon as someone pulls it out of there, the way Forky did. |

Who cares. Just stare at his face in the last panel forever and be amused.

In Panel 12, I for some reason think it might have been a tiny extra bit more amusing if Seymour had said "Why you little..." ala Homer Simpson instead of "Why you..."
Of course, since it's his hat, "You little ingrate..." might have been more appropriate.
I get a mild bit of extra entertainment imagining the sequence of events preceding Saturday's strip: Seymour outruns the Devil Hat and, deciding that he's safe (he doesn't seem noticeably worried in Saturday's strip), just sort of puts it out of his mind, but meanwhile the Hat is tracking him down, maybe going SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF like a bloodhound...
Notice that in Panel 8 even the Devil Hat seems bemused by the rifle flowers. Little extra details are fun.
In Panel 9, I'm not sure if Seymour really thinks the flowers might accomplish something or if he's just trying to bluff the Devil Hat. |

Ronald, serious tip. Instead of thinking so much about a comic which is mostly nonsensical in the first place, you should use your creativity for a better use, like, write a novel or something. It's depressing reading your comments _________________ If it's pretty, hit it:

Even his hat seemed completely taken back by "BLOOM"
But it recovered quickly when he taunted it.

Forky is an official denizen of Hell. Devil Hat is merely possessed.

Tee hee. |

Wow, it's been awhile since we last saw the bloom-derbuss back in May. _________________ AstroCitizen -- soon to become "My Sacred Identity"

What makes you think I think "so much" about it? It usually doesn't take me that long to think up my comments; IMHO the Sinfest world is a fun place to think about, which makes the comments come more easily. With all due respect, what do you want to spoil my fun for? :-/

Aside from the fact that you're presuming that I haven't written a novel -- I haven't, but that's not the point -- wouldn't it, uh, follow that you'd be depressed reading a novel I wrote? Besides, with all due respect, you can't possibly think that I could write a novel with the same minimal time and effort that I expend commenting on this strip. It seems hard to believe that I come across as that impressive. Writing a novel would require me to at the least write like 2000 words per day for months. I doubt I use up 2000 words in two weeks of commenting in here.
Hm, perhaps I put too much serious thought into your comment. Not unlike how you put too much thought into mine. With all due respect.
ADDENDUM:
Thanks for the compliment on my creativity, BTW. My apologies for not thinking to say that when I first posted this. |

"I'm armed and extremely religious!" Hehehehe! I wonder if I could get a bumper-sticker that says that.
But, then again, I'm opposed to bumper-stickers on religious grounds.
...religions, too, for that matter. _________________ I am only a somewhat arbitrary sequence of raised and lowered voltages to which your mind insists upon assigning meaning |

You misunderstood me, not the content is depressing, but the fact that you use so much time(even if you don't think so much about it, all that writing and archive searching on the other hand) on such nonsense(the plot of this comic)...
oh, and writing a novel isn't so time consuming as people might think, the most time consuming part about is the thinking, and if you are really don't think about your sinfest forum posts, then that shouldn't be much of a problem.

You'll have to stick with the Enigma "Fish" or get one of those fish emblems that says Tuna inside it and put a copy of REO Speedwagon's 1978 album where it can be seen through the back windshield. |

You could probably get one made that says that. Then again, that may be what you meant. |

There's a distinct lack of boring women around Seymour. |
