Would she still be asleep if Buddha hadn't tapped her toe?

What happened? Why did Tat suddenly decide to indulge in self hatred & get all preachy? The comic used to be funny. Now I feel like I'm on a man hater's site & bein sermoned.

P.S. The Matrix-esque of it just comes off heavy handed & rip offish.

The little off comments the Matrix is making made me chuckle.

I still can't decide the actual age of the girl with the glasses. Is she a young child, or an older black man? I can't decide.

Everything about this is perfect. The beautiful green colorscheme, the whole Matrix parody thing, the message itself is pretty great imo, and oh my god Glossy you are flawless. Honestly, she's earned herself a place on my list of characters I really like and will be excited to see every time they show up.

Also, I'm going to go on a limb and guess that her hair is that of a light shade. Which leads me to assume that she's most likely a blonde - either the usual golden blond or strawberry blond. Which is awesome, because it does further support that theory that she's most likely a potential counterpart of sorts to Slick. And that, in itself, is pretty awesome if you ask me. With all of that said, I still want to see her and Slick make-out.

I can only assume there will be an opposite to this too. It works both ways.

In a parallel, the tricycle-girl doesn't walk. Foot problems may plague the awakened.

I do admire her gestures on her bike. Such picturesque posing.

The use of linear perspective in the matrix-streaming words is an interesting effect. True that there is a mote of preaching herein, but the comic has gone so far in the other direction at times that it is good to see it take an opposite tack, showing, I suppose, that all of its attitudes are merely fictitious and for the sake of effect. Art for art's sake and all that.

A great new character, to be sure.

The secret... it's out.

It's not a tricycle, people, it's a Big Wheel.

There. I said it. I feel better.

Again, I would've thought Monique already knew all this stuff. I already knew it.

This is like the opposite of the old feminazi strips. Which are actually more accurate. The problem isn't misogyny, it's misandry. Which my spellcheck doesn't recognize as a word. And, very much like in this strip, once you realize how bad it is it's like an awakening from the Matrix.

Nice detail that 'Nique put on shoes between panels.

Shouldn't she be in your lineup of bouncing gremlins, then? Wink

I hope for 'Nique's sake the effect wears off soon. Seems like it would be really inconvenient going through life seeing an infinite array of depressing sentence fragments...

It's hard to say... is Monique actually seeing some weirdness confounding humanity, or is this just an insightful LSD trip?

Oh, well. How long do you think before Slick, Criminy, Seymour, Percy, etc, get their own red pills?

Tat doesn't usually repeat himself to quite that degree.

Besides, we still need to get back to Pebbles and Li'l E. Seriously, this is like that "Simpsons" episode with Poochie: "When are they gonna get to the fireworks factory?!"
