poor old guy! but you can get a similar effect with a small mirror or piece of glass - i used to be able to play with a cat using the reflection off my watch face (you need a pretty good source of light, admittedly).

so he doesn't go for feathers or string or anything like that? no wonder he always wants to be fed - sounds like he doesn't have anything else in his life that amuses him.

My cat has this massive obsession with licking me. Nowadays she'll actually let me pet her... for a little while. But when she's running around like a crazy cat or steps on my hair while I try to sleep, it's so I'll let her lick me. Seriously. Hands, face. Thing is, I really, really hate how it feels. Maybe if she could just stick to the tip of my nose or forehead. But no no, she always has to move to my eyelids and up my nose.

Seriously, if she woke me up just to cuddle her, that would be amazing. Cuddling without her also licking my hand.

Oh, and she loves, loves, loves hand lotion and astringent. Pretty sure she shouldn't be licking my face after I use astringent, though.

So it never occurred to me how big my cats are until I got to visit my cousin and saw her cats.

Hehe, if I called him "Lil Bit" he'd be named ALMOST as inappropriately as he is. That's Orange. He's a big boy. *pats him and gets glared at* He just likes to glare, too. Even when he's cuddling with you. I think its his default expression.

Oh, Lil Bit isn't little AT ALL. She used to be. Then we got her fixed and she just exploded. Like, she's not even really fat, she's just big. She also has the natural glare going on. And loves to chew on cellophane. It's like she can smell that shit.

Yeah, Decibel is very large as well. Chris keeps telling me to get him on a diet but I already did and he lost weight and he is still huge. He is fixed too which does impact that but structurally he isn't small.

And I have gotten into the habit of feeding Decibel tuna flavored laxative paste ever day or so. He get hair balls all the time and the paste has fixed that. Also, unpacking means tape EVERYWHERE and he LOVES tape.

It's a bit of both; the crock pot is only 2 quarts, but he IS a big cat.
