new on the teabag front: david brooks proclaims it to be the wave of the future

i'm really wondering who is getting polled, if 41% of the pollees have a positive view of the tea party movement.

I thought it was an offshoot of the republican party, but that may or may not prove how much I know/ care about them.

... is it? I thought it was just a bunch of ign'ant conservatives whipped into a fear-mongered frenzy of demonstrations over nebulous Obamaness in the administration.
