received the most awesome santa package today, the post mistress even came through the gate to leave it on top of my septic tank cover - a first & a sure sign of great homage to the santee & his amazing gift choosing abilities, there's 2 items inside & I was totally blowed over just peeking inside one, the other I am awaiting the results of forensic laboratory testing before trying, but really so so awesome - pics tomorrow

also I heard that my santa gift arrived but even being X-tra large was way too small for the giant of a recipient & I just hope that they found some one whom it was perfect for

I've only glanced at the first page of item 1 & I've already spluttered wine & bombay mix all over my keyboard so now I'm saving it for bed time reading

thanks Stevey chan

It's the sound you make when you do the "throat slash" gesture

tho Yorick's interpretations are valid as well.

I downloaded IrfanView but am unable to extract it from the zip file with 'the unarchiver' app on my mac - I did have this on my old windows comp but unfortunately the parallels windows that I had put on this mac isn't really working

I tried searching for another extractor & found Hampster but can't see anywhere on their site to click for actually downloading it, I do have paint so I guess that would be a way to reduce it's dimensions, what's the ideal ones to put in for posting here? many thanks

edit: ah I see that Imgur where I put the photos offers a resizing so I've changed them there now to: Auto resize; 640x480 (message boards)

not sure if I now need to load new link to them as they don't seem to have changed here yet - Edit: resized pics there just add an h to the end of the jpeg's url - tada!

on the Mac you can use Preview to change the size (or used to)
or get GraphicConverter

640 wide is probably reasonable for picture width

and I think you'll need to update your links.

I forgot to post that I got a sweater that was, alas, two sizes too small for me. *shrugs* Oh well, it's not the first time someone gave me a weird gift. I remember when someone gave me a book on sensual massage. That was a trip.

Oh hi sinfest. It seems my internet is working (For now!) so I bring thee PICTURES!!

First, mouse you are completely lovely. I really didn't want to give the scarf away. My dad loved it.

Decibel didn't exactly know what to do with the knitten.

Chris tends to pet the knitten's ears when no one is watching (hence no picture).

Mr. Meddler: I saw the package and who it was from and I was like I GOT THE SCARF EEEEEEEEEE!!!! Seriously. I have been wearing it everyday and it is the only reason I didn't keep mouse's gift for myself.

Sorry for the picture delay. The internet has been downright unmanageable. Posting from my phone worked but doing that on sinfest... yeah, wasn't going to happen.

I am also a terrible person: I did send out my SS gift but it was only a few days ago. It should show up shortly though. Family, money, time etc etc etc. However, I am pretty happy so I hope it is a couple night of entertainment.
