my package came! and i _scored_.

i had 10 (count them, ten) packages, and a great card. i must admit, when i read it to the cats, i substituted 'cat' for 'elf' (the pointy ears bit helped), because the two of them were tearing around the house squabbling and slapping each other. so i was quite happy that one of the packages was the book what is my cat thinking, because lord knows it's not always clear to _me_ (i showed it to them as a warning - angelina refused to acknowledge it, and fred put on a "book? what is this 'book' of which you speak" thing - so it must be good). another package was grimm's complete fairy tales, which starts out with "the frog-king" (which is the _real_ version of the princess and the frog, and one of my favorites) - so that is an excellent start, and it looks like there are all sorts of gems in it. and i have a candle and a whole slew of different flavors of hot cocoa, so i am going to make myself some cocoa and read my book by candlelight, and leave you all to amuse yourselves.
