I feel slightly embarrassed that I know what the hell you're talking about. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

Why would you be embarassed?
Is Xanth really that bad? I own about 20 some-odd titles of Piers Anthony's books (NOT just the Xanth books). I will admit that the other series are better but I still like the Xanth books in moderation, not that I can imagine someone reading all 29 of them in one sitting. |

I read up to #17, I think. But I'll agree that everything after 9 was total crap. Also, I really liked most of the Incarnations series. In fact, I think the only one I didn't really care for was the last in the series. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

| The Incarnations of Immortality series is my favorite of his work. I've read them 3 or 4 times and would suggest the series to people all the time (when I worked at a book store). |

I'd definitely suggest the first five. Number 6 is fair and I didn't care for #7. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

According to what I've read, Anthony was not originally planning on writing 7 books. There were only supposed to be the 5 but he decided to continue.
I like the last two because I really feel they bring all the characters together and really let you see how they are all related. Actually, part of why I like my Username so much is the "Natasha" part.

Yeah, I might find it a bit difficult to actually eat, especially if I made it myself. Yes, it is edible.
I just noticed the Fortune Cookies it the background but I'm not sure why they would be trying to pass an obviously European dragon off as a Chinese one.
I've always been a bigger fan of decorating cakes than eating them, though.
Edit: Clarification. That was a general statement. I did NOT decorate the following cake.

I have less patience for Anthony than just about anyone, I think. I thought he ran Xanth into the ground by book 7, and I felt like the 5th books of the Incarnations series was already grasping at straws (I didn't read the last two). Which is two bad, because I really enjoyed the first couple books of each series. _________________ "Whatever afflicts thee, their asses I shall kick"
