I'm curious to see where exactly this is going to go. I wonder when/if She'll clash with cross dressing Squig. _________________

Whatchagonnadu, Glossy?
Call him a pig? He already is one.
Tell him to stop watching women's sports? THAT would be sexist.
Force his mind to enjoy women's sports for their genuine value? That would be brainwashing, which is what your organization is against (at least in the form of Matrix references).
Whatchagonnadu? Just stare menacingly at him? Actually... that might work... I would go with that one. _________________ DON'T PANIC |

Well I'm in a terribly foul mood so lets get this started on the right foot.

So your stance is that disliking the objectification of women is puritanical?
I suggest you missed the point. |

Starting on the right foot, in this case, means not starting it at all.
For me, I think that quote is just a funny passage that fits the situation depicted on the strip without any sexist undertones.

I'm pretty sure you don't know the first fucking thing about what sexism really means to make a comment like that. |

That's because you've displayed a typical lack of willingness to learn, or even attempt to understand the pervasive influence of sexism in modern society. S'ok though, I'm sure your Bros from the other thread will back you up.
I'm quite confident it's because you ate paint chips or something as a child. |

Where is all this hate coming from?
What "bros" are you talking about?
I'm just here to read and enjoy a comic strip.
I don't understand why my character is being insulted over something I've never done in my life. |

It wouldn't be sexist of him to only watch (not to mention, financially support by way of ratings) sports programs of his own gender? I guess you must be right. With that in mind, I should remember, as an employer, to only hire male workers. Never hire any women, for fear that I might be tempted to look at their rears. Got it.
I don't think you know the first thing about sexism. _________________ DON'T PANIC |

It wells up deep within me when I see natures mistakes posting on the internet.
Here's a tip though, being dismissive of issues of equality and race/gender is a common reaction from a privileged party (generally white men) when confronted with the fact that the societal norms they themselves (and thats they themselves as in the privileged party, not necessarily the individual) put into place might not be equally awesome for people who don't share their gender or race in that society.

Nope, it has nothing to do with the watching of the program and everything to do with the objectification of those being watched. He's not watching athletes, or a tennis competition, to him it's softcore porn.
And jesus, how about YOU SIMPLY DON'T OGLE YOUR FEMALE EMPLOYEES BUTTS YOU JACKASS |

I don't even employ people, or plan on doing so in the near future. I know it's hard to convey tone through the internet, but I think you should have got that. _________________ DON'T PANIC |

Again, why do you assume that I somehow come from a privileged, upper-crust society... or even a white American for that matter?
Do I have to write a deep and thought-provoking essay on the annals of gender issues just be able to discuss Sinfest with you guys?
I choose to dismiss all of this LOL FEMINISM/CHAUVINISM crap because I'm on the Internet. I don't need to display my sociopolitical views here, especially not for a comic strip forums.
So does that mean I don't have an opinion regarding gender equality? Of course I do. I just choose not to display it because I know it may offend some of the more "sensitive" people in here.
I mean, look at you guys. You're hateful and jump to conclusions. You think all the newbies who joined the forums during this fiasco are nothing but chauvinist pigs out to ruin your little tea party.
All I'm saying is, I'm not here to argue with you over anything. Even if I did, I doubt you'll listen to anything this little newbie forumite would say.
