Completely missing the point. The terribleness of a Mary Sue has absolutely nothing to do with its gender. |
I never said it was. I said that some people use the term on characters who are NOT Mary Sues as a type of intimidation against female characters. I never said they were using it correctly. Infact I was emphasising that that was the wrong usage for the term. But if you hadn't skimmed through my entire post to sum it up in 'Blahs' you might have noticed that. |
