So I made a character.
It was a nice distraction anyway.
I couldn't figure out how much horses cost in Pathfinder, though. _________________ Samsally the Gray |

If work wasn't sucking out my soul I could figure out more than just 'duergar' and 'female'. x.x _________________ Sinfest Comments Bingo because we like Schadenfreude~ |

Samsally; http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services , "Animal, Horse". A typical horse without battlefield training is 75 GP. Remember you'll need at least some minimal training in both the Ride and Handle Animal skills, if you don't want to lose your investment the first time it gets spooked during an ambush. _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))

If anyone wants a hands-on introduction to Pathfinder, I'd be willing to GM a session for a group of you sometime. I can't run a whole campaign for you, but I'd be willing to host one or two "breaking in" sessions.
If anyone's interested, keep posting here, and if there's interest, we can figure out a date and I'll help everyone get ready for it. _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))

Yeah, I have both of those trained. I'm not sure if this link works, but this is what I've done so far: http://www.dndsheets.net/view.php?id=37497 _________________ Samsally the Gray |

I had forgotten about those online sheets. I might have a look at them now. _________________ Sinfest Comments Bingo because we like Schadenfreude~ |

Samsally; let's see here...
* As a 1st-level Fighter, you should have a BAB, Base Attack Bonus, of 1. This gets added to all attacks and combat maneuvers.
* You've left your CMD, Combat Maneuver Defense, blank. It should be 10+BAB+strength modifier+dex modifier.
* At first level, you've correctly given yourself your maximum hit die in HP, but you forgot to add your constitution modifier, for a total of 11 HP.
* You've forgotten to include your strength modifier in the damage dealt with your morningstar. You should also list your total to-hit bonus with the morningstar; your BAB plus your Strength modifier (because it's a melee attack), for a total of +3 for total attack bonus, and 1d8+2 damage.
Otherwise, looks good. _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))

Ah, acronyms. *squints* Thanks for pointing that stuff out, I knew I was missing stuff but I didn't know what.
It may take me longer than reasonable to fix this. It's been a while for me.
Edit: Okay in theory it's fixed. Whee. _________________ Samsally the Gray

Samsally; I forgot to mention, the Hide armour you're wearing has an Armour Check Penalty of -3; write that in beside the armour, and the sheet will automatically include the penalty in the skills that are affected. ACP only affects certain STR- and DEX-based skills, and represents the weight and bulk of armour making things like jumping, climbing, and swimming more difficult. _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))

It occurs to me I should elaborate on running a session, in case anyone is on the fence about it.
If I did get enough interest to do a session (by which I mean three to six people), it would not be Play-by-Post; it would be a two-to-five hour live session, using a virtual tabletop and either Skype, Ventrilo, or a Google+ Hangout for voice chat. We'll schedule it for a time when everyone attending is able to make it; in my own case, preferably Saturday or Sunday, but I'm open to weekday evenings PST.
I'd help everyone build their characters, and set up tokens for them on the virtual tabletop, and we'd run a mini-campaign that would bring your characters to level 3 in as many sessions. It would be approachable for anyone whether they've RP'd in any D&D-like system before, or if they're complete newbies.
Either PM me or post here if you would be interested. _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))
