And now for a few words from our sponsors:
There is a disease here in the Sinfest forums, and it can infect anybody at anytime. But YOU can fight it!
- Do not respond to Trolls. They are very easy to spot, especially outside of their natural habitat. DO NOT feed them. DO NOT even look at them. Just walk the other way and ignore them.
- Respect each other's opinion. Be cordial. If you don't agree with another person, just agree to disagree and move on. You DO NOT need to have the last word in an argument.
- Respect yourself. Trolls can and will say things that are not truly what you think (ex. Ad Hominem and Straw Man). You are BETTER than what other people claim you to be. Prove it by IGNORING these kinds of fallacies. _________________ Opinions are like ass holes: everybody has them. Sometimes they're clean... sometimes they stink... and sometimes they're just full of shit. But if you love shoving yours up on other people's faces, then you're a fucking whore. |

kind of odd how she thinks of slick for this contrast. i don't think slick's appreciation of her has actually gone down, even if she's gotten even further out of territory he can understand
still waiting for 'nique to grow beyond glossy's rather one-dimensional take on feminism |

How appropriate that this article comes out on the same day as today's comic.

Moss who’s been married to her guitarist husband Jamie Hince for almost a year said: “He would go mental if I started dressing like a wife! He likes me when I’m a rock n roll kind of a girl.”
Journalist Helen Kirwin-Taylor from the UK Daily Mail believes that Moss is right. Literally. She says: ” I would never think about sitting down for dinner with my husband without slipping into something stylish and alluring, brushing my hair and applying lipstick".
“Every morning I resist the temptation to simply stay in my pyjamas — such slobbishness is one of the downsides of working from home — and instead put on lipstick and decent, fitted clothes. For it is the very act of grooming that reminds me I am a woman — and hopefully an attractive one. And before my husband gets home, if I am feeling unkempt, I change again”.

And here comes the fight I'm sure. Maybe Holocauxt will dissuade it with that warning though. You know, people on the internet are so reasonable, they always listen to comics reasonably here on these forums too.

Dawn, can you please stuff it? Take it to yesterday's thread. None of this stuff in this.
You wouldn't be THE Dawn, now would you? *hmmmm* _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

I have no clue what you mean by 'THE Dawn'.
I simply thought the article and today's comic was a coincidence. Although if you notice, in the article it is *women* placing pressure on *other women* to dress up for their men.
It is definitely related to the comic. Nique loses positive attention when she dresses down. Women say men are less attracted to their wives if their wives dress down.
That is all I have to say. |

Yes! Yes, yes, yes! This needs to be at the start of every thread.
I'm liking this comic. Not the best, but it's alright.
But what is that in panel 4 behind Monique? Is that her hot pants? Weird. |

This is a little off topic:
Why doesn't your signature have Buddha or the dragon in it? _________________ woo |

Dragons are hard for me to draw, let alone pixel.
Buddha's hair is hard for me to draw, let alone pixel.

Darn. I thought you would. We need her back. And Mage. And Deranged.
Hm. Maybe not. _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

Looking back into ye ol' Sinfest archives, Tat used to draw 'Nique so pretty...
If Tat ever goes back to drawing this way, I seriously wouldn't mind the current storyline. _________________ Opinions are like ass holes: everybody has them.
