Perhaps it was originally a coffeehouse but then Granny decided to renovate it, so it's a bakery now.

As much as I like Pebbles, I like the Slick/'Nique paradigm more than I like the Pebbles/E paradigm (if I'm the only one who wants Li'l E to go back to the way he was before, well, so be it), so all the comparisons do for me is remind me how much better the strip is capable of being. So it goes.
