I like the "new" feminism. Its much more progressive. You can't convince someone to reconsider just by telling him "you're trash and you shouldn't be like this and that". But I think thats the 2nd wave.

But yea, piggy is kind of missing the point lol.

Thanks to sinfest, I now spent half an hour in wikipedia learning about 3rd wave feminism. No wasted time though, very interesting.
Third wave feminism doesn't seem to generally support porn, sorry piggy.

And Squig is misunderstanding the point of what they're fight. It's more like, third wave feminism is not anti-sex.

It even involves many people that enjoy porn, now that there is ACTUALLY porn out there that's not like the silly archeotype that porn directors all liked, with no focus on anything a girl would like. Also the fact that all porn just lazily followed the trope that All Women are Lustful, even when they're being made to have sex with painful voracity or being demeaned. And that type of porn of course is still probably the most prominent type, which is what feminists do have problems with. Also it simultaneously throws out the trope All Women are Prudes on any women not wanting to have sex. Feminists have problems with these two tropes being the only extremes for people that they feel it makes people unwilling to respect a girl's actual feelings.

But otherwise yeah, third wave feminism has no problems with sex...or even the idea of porn in general that matter. Some people in it might still, but no one speaks for everyone.

This one kinda made me nervous. I'm assuming the joke is the pig didn't read the description cause "slut walks" are not meant to be a kinky or porny. They are to challenge the attitude that women who are sexually assaulted somehow deserved it for being "slutty." Though this story has implied that men watching porn is the root of all problems for women so I don't know if I should be hopeful. =/
