Based on how men react on Youtube, I'd say first it's arousal, then after that is all said and done, they switch to feeling a little dirty for having actually been aroused in the first place.
It's pretty common. I know my wife does little things like bite my cheek, or claw my back, and I like those things. Then, after we're done making love, the same thing is suddenly just painful with none of the "pleasure" associated with it just minutes ago. It's very strange, the chemicals of a man's brain.
But I do bet porn like that indeed looks pretty nasty when Squig's guilt-freeing arousal state fades. Especially when he's been talking about it lately with others.

It's unfortunate that any actually good porn is bogged down in this formulaic garbage. Part of why I watch Hentai. Sure, there's some really fucked up stuff you can get away with making in a cartoon (rape, incest, incest rape, tentacle rape, underage, et cetera), but at least there's a level of variety that can be found in it.
More than that, plot/character/storytelling tends to be taken a bit more seriously, to the point where you will actually want to keep watching post-orgasm, if for no other reason than "cause I gotta see how it ends."
One of my favorites, actually, has the protagonist at one point raped, under threat of castration, by his own twin sister. Creepy as that sounds, they set it up excellently, with a subplot that combines elements of tragic romance with psychological horror, and it's a really moving, suspenseful scene, apart from being strangely hot.

Am I the only one who stopped watching porn because of the subliminal homosexual messages that they projected?
Also the empathy thing makes the torture videos really awkward.
I totally wouldn't take it up the pooper, shave too close to my testicles or gag on something just to get my significant other off. It's pretty cruel. That's why my expectations went back down to reasonable levels in the aftermath.
What if women aren't vending machines and you are actually not lonely at all but in fact just too lazy to masturbate because peer pressure and soft-core movie theater films encouraged you to be lazy?
I'm not encouraging people to get harmed at a theater, I'm just pointing out how sitting in front of a blinking screen or a desktop backdrop will burn that image into your skull so that even amnesia won't wipe it away.
