That kinda reminds me of that one time I got drunk and on a whim I suggested we all meet up in Amsterdam and then we all did.

I don't remember bailing on andrew, but since I live close enough to swing a cat at him I'm assuming I either wasn't invited or must have bailed. Because I don't think I would have said no to the opportunity to press against that fine piece of man, unless I had to.

I mostly remember it being at a really inopportune time (I think I had either just started a job and couldn't get time, or just lost a job and didn't have money.)
I do remember the plans falling through though.

This needs clarification, I would recommend meeting him not bailing on him.
100% of the times I have met Andrew there were local art galleries and chili omelets.

To clarify a couple things: I am talking about the time we tried to meet in Seattle, and I'm not at all trying to imply that the people who bailed are personally at fault--stuff happens, conflicts arise, etc., and I didn't take it personally. It was just crappy timing and discouraging for everyone to drop out simultaneously.
Also, it was great fun to meet up with the DC clump and I would do it again, although I have no idea when I'll have time to travel next...! |

I walked out of the farraday cage that is my work and had a vm from las and dragged them all off to bitter bar and fed them squid and was regailed with the tale of possibly the nerdiest fanfiction ever holy shit.

I am headed out of Colorado tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, Sam and I didn't catch each other before I left but oh well. I went hiking and went around Estes Park and good times were had!
