Mostly because if your going to be a stripper as your primary employment, people are going to want to pay to see you semi-naked.

I'm pretty sure that's part of the joke.

But, on a side note, you've never worked in any kind of customer service job have you? Never a Waiter? or Cashier? or Lawyer?

Try dealing with customers all day for a few weeks and see if you don't feel like you have a right to complain.

(I might be sitting in an ivory tower right now, but I made sure to do a year of that kind of a job first to give myself perspective/motivation. I swear, if one more fat rich housewife had asked me why we don't sell water -when EVERY display refrigerator had water in it- I would have..... and I know I've done shit like that as well in a store. I think people must lose 50 IQ points when they become a 'customer,' someone should do a study.)

Indigo! (Indy for short) This is one of my favourite of the strip-club devil girls (not that theres many left now that Big D has recruited most of the rest personally in his hell-mansion) I love the row of earrings up her ears, she strikes me as one who totally rocks the 'bad girl' angle to her full potential.

Could even have some chemistry with Baby Blue if only for their mutual love of being bad. Although Baby Blue is probably still hung up on Fuchsia and if she did go for another devil girl it would be more likely to be one innocent like her i.e. Lime/Fern.

Although I personally prefer Indigo for her I suppose Ultramarine would also work (although it's a little long. Maybe just 'Marine'? Thats quite pretty)

EDIT - OOH! Better yet! What about with Mint? The intellectual/badass combination is tried and true and they're quite compatible on the colour scheme. Mint and Marine. I like it! <3

Well, one might presume she already has chemistry with her co-performer, Yellow What's-with-the-Horn Devil Girl.

Seriously, what, is she half-demon-from-another-belief-system or something?

There's another scenario with a good excuse to provide names, the introduction to an act:

"And now presenting those pleasurable partners in the performing passions, the sultry and scrumptious Citrine and Cerulean!"

Or whoever. Wink

Nobody seemed to notice Tat referencing a crochet book!

It might not have been on purpose... but... Y'KNOW WHAT, I'ma just continue on like it is cuz Tat is clever as hell and it would just make my day.

Um... I think part of the basic concept of this is that this isn't exactly a job she took because she thought it would be a great career choice.

If she wanted to work elsewhere, even in "Devil Corp" she could have. I mean yes she may still have to deal with idiots, but she wouldn't have to take her top off in order to get paid.

Technically she could have opted into taking over Fushia's job of tormenting the damned.

We're not talking about where she works, we're talking about the fact that she doesn't like the customers. Even if the Devil was lenient enough to let her work something else, there's no doubt she'd have clients she didn't like. Because every job has clients that will make you want to bash your head against the wall.

Everyone has the right to complain about the elements of their job that they don't like. It doesn't necessarily mean they hate the job itself.

You've never even tried to get a job, have you?
Just because Fushia left does not mean every devil girl now can fill the position. The concept isn't even coherent.

The devil likely hand selected the replacement; likely this girl did not even have an opportunity to apply.

Am I the only one that sees a demon version of Monique?
Was this the booth-babe that non-slick couldn't afford?

Also I am relieved that none of the demons are gay. Could you imagine that? It would be horrible! Then again, at least it wasn't the WestBoro 2013 incident.

I'm not really sure about that, and regardless, would tormenting damned souls really be a step up? Shocked

Actually, almost literally.

http://www.sinfest.net/archive_page.php?comicID=4142

Lime is still on lounge-around-the-house-looking-sexy duty*, but Russet might be downstairs pitchforking souls or across town Booth-Babe-ing or, well, something.

Seriously, it never really, for lack of a better term, made sense (in, you know, context) for The Devil to have only two employees working in Hell to begin with.

===

*The Devil used to employ Mortals (or maybe Androids, who the heck knows) in that position (so to speak):

Wait, what? (1) How do you know none of them are? (2) Why would it be horrible?

I thought he was sarcastic.

Everyone is bisexual until proven otherwise, so says the book of Yinello.

hahahahaha... this is hilarious. So somewhere there's info about Devil Corps job openings ("She could have worked in IT! Look, they're hiring a desktop specialist!") and their hiring practices ("EOE! Says so right on the website!")?

Now, I have no idea how devil girls get their jobs, or switch jobs, or how easy that is (are their experience requirements? do they have to supply their own pitchforks, or does Big D provide them?). But apparently you do. Tell us about it!

Seriously. You're killing me.

Yinello does that book of yours say if that "everyone" includes all of us, the happy, well intended, clinically mad sinfest forum people? Just being curious.

I know how hard it is to get a job, but I know its easy to transfer when your IN a corporation. She has her foot in the door of Devil Corp, why not just transfer out of the tempting division...
