I also hope those models can recover. I have had my hips look like that and it took me a good year before my breasts felts normal and I wasn't like that for more than a month.

*thoughts of fiona walking around for a year asking her friends to decide if her breasts felt normal yet*

"hmmmmmmmm...HMMMMmmmmm...NOPE, not yet!...

...come back tomorrow."

I'd berate you for that comment if it wasn't true. A month or so ago I am hanging with my friends and Krissy come up behind me and puts me on her lap.

"She has pudge!!!!"

Her squeals hurt my ears.

Oh, and being that much underweight destroys your teeth. I still need to find a dentist and estimate the damage.

Hey, there's one advantage to me buying my clothes out of the mens department: they're durable enough to stand up to having to crawl under desks, cabling computers.

That and I'm the only one in my group that can crossdress at the office and no one raises an eyebrow. Cool

Oy, that model is a good example of what I fear to look like.. Only I would have extra bones jutting out, because my rib cage flares out a bit naturally...

Anyway, I never want to be that skinny. Ever. And I probably could be if I stopped trying to eat on days I'm not hungry. People glare at me when I say its a problem, but just because you think the grass is greener doesn't mean it actually is.

My ex-fiancee's sister was like that model. I always thought I got the more attractive sister, who was actually at a healthy weight, though the scary thin one (eighty five pounds and like, five foot six) got a lot more attention for reasons I couldn't fathom.

because models are notoriously easy-going and empathetic, of course.

It's the test that measures percent body fat. And then you need to establish the healthy levels of body fat. Women's athletes need between 12-20% body fat to be healthy. And they are the leanest on the chart. Acceptable percentages of body fat for women who aren't athletes ranges between 21% to 31%

No... but the two times have have worn girl clothes around my friends, no one recognized me at first.

My off-work outfits are typically T-shirts and jeans - and I do need to get smaller jeans. Only thing that keeps my jeans up these days are my hips.

but if the models who are too thin can't get work, how will they be able to afford the food to gain the weight back?? it's like a dieters prison!

even (some) girls with eating disorders think the ban is a good idea. and that should tell you something.

That model picture actually scared me.

She really does look vaguely ghoulish.
