I still have my towel. I can assure you that the plank in my eye brings me no pain but despite my hypocrisy : watching others splinter causes me to cringe. My family is filled with investigative people. Rather than ask rhetorical questions in order to alter the environment, I'd rather be brief and get to the point. I agree that what I have done is barbaric and I apologize for it but I think it's even more cruel to interrogate without actually intending to extract anything of value. Immortality is a painful existence that I have had trouble adapting to. I think the worst time is when I spent a brief moment as a bowl of petunias which ended up as some sort of organic dish. They suggested that vegetarianism causes no pain to the victim but I for one knew better than that. If only the whale besides me knew his fate, he wouldn't have bothered attempting to make a friendship with that round ground. Life, don't talk to me about life.
