Hmmm. I'm getting older myself (well, technically, we all are, ha!), so this might be something to keep in mind... turning 45 on Saturday, sigh...

As a 58 year old: don't worry- the fourties are the shite decade, after that it all gets better. Especially if you have been in a stable relationship for a really long time, 40's are when everyone is graying a bit or getting older but have not really grown into the elegant older look yet so its just awkward, like a new teenage time. Not to mention you get more self conscious as your kids grow up (if you have them) or you realize your not a young person anymore. Than right about at 51-52 it ends and you enter the "what the fuck, lets do it". You finally accept that you are older now and suddenly you feel a lot less self conscious about doing things you would be embarrassed to do as a 30 or 40 year old. Also, spoilers for those of you who don't want to know what your parents are getting up to:

the sex gets a ton better. the awkward in between stage really kicks your self confidence in the teeth and plus having kids means you have to be more careful, plus there is the feeling that "I am aging so I should be more calm". Then you enter the awesome fifties and realize you have entered into the next stage of your life, so why give a fuck about what you should or should not be doing.

its a graphic novel set in a noir city of vice, greed and a metric fuck ton of hookers.

you're completely wrong, it's a song by AC/DC.

Obviously, I believe I mentioned that.

If we are all pulling out our ages, I was born 1981 in May. I just seem younger because my severe phonics impairment makes me type like a 3rd grader.

Also the immaturity; that probably contributes, I would guess.

By a funny coincidence, though, it's a song about a noir city of vice, greed and a metric fuck ton of hookers.

Well, mainly I just need to work on my weight. While for some guys it's a real selling point (as it were), I'm keen to take better care of my body and not have my back go out all the time... I'm actually having trouble unpacking boxes because some of them are just too heavy for me to lift. Crying or Very sad

Be careful with your back Chas! Once damaged it can't be fixed! Ask for help if you have to or make smaller boxes. xP

might as well learn what you're up against before getting slapped in the face by aging.

CHASTMASTR -- A REVIEW

Wasn't too sure at first, constant use of emoticons is usually a sign of someone who doesn't really understand what words are for, has now totally won me over with posts regarding nude barbarian art.
RATING: YOU GO GIRL!

ISKANDER -- A REVIEW

Originally appeared to be part of the MISANDRY! crew that keeps showing up, now proving to be a poor man's Eboy. Posts mostly about how old he is and how he is an ex-wrestler, recently dropped a 'young people are so disrespectful' bomb. Seriously though, we get it, you're old. You don't need to mention it anymore.
RATING: WHERE'RE MA PILLS?!

Yay! Smile

Oh, words. My. Yes, I post... much... much shorter things here... than I do... just about anywhere else, actually... Embarassed

I'm like an old Scott Adams adventure set up for maximum verbosity. After a certain point I start quoting C.S. Lewis' Perelandra when discussing Marvel Comics' Civil War, which is a sure sign that the debate has gone on too long.
