Ooo, starting my very first thread! I'm a comics fan and will happily post my own list but I wanted to get the ball rolling by asking what comic books (rather than webcomics and such) people here read. Surely I am not the only one? |

The thread exists but I've never posted in it. Or maybe I have. Whatever.
I read... uh
every single Calvin and Hobbes book.
Not so much super-hero-y stuff.
Also random Japanese comics and some stuff by Will Eisner et al I guess.
Actually, not so much print comics in general. _________________ butts |

I have to share Cowboy Ninja Viking, a comic book about multiple personality disorder patients who work for a counter-intelligence unit.
It is fucking hilarious. |

Real talk, Cowboy Ninja Viking seems kinda awesome.
This part made me sad though. I liked the original writers a lot more.

In 2010 it was announced that Disney had purchased the rights to make a film adaptation of the comic book. Zombieland screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are slated to pen the film's screenplay.[3] Disney dropped the film in turnaround and Universal acquired the rights in 2012, with World War Z director Marc Forster attached to direct.[4] |

| I can't check at work (plus demonoid is down, curses!) but I'm willing to buy a whole bunch of them and mail them out because that comic is seriously that awesome. |

I tried reading Sandman and threw up after twelve pages. It's currently resting next to a secondhand Ayn Rand novel.
Yeah, Neil, you read that right. _________________ All our final decisions are made in a state of mind that is not going to last. - Marky Mark Proust |

I've never been a very big comic fan, but I've got:
1) Most of DC's Star Trek comic that ran from '89 through the mid/late-90s, including the Annuals and Specials (missing one annual and a handful of issues from the early part of the run)
2) The four TPB collections of the original Mirage TMNT comics released by First Graphic Novel back in the late-80s/early-90s
3) The TPB of the first four issues of the original Gen13 before it got rebooted (ordered the second collection, but it never showed up so got my money back on it)
4) The Chuck graphic novel
5) The first two TPB collections of Boom!'s Darkwing Duck. Intend to get the other three, and also the two Rescue Rangers TPB (those cartoons rocked)
6) Dark Empire
7) Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand
Star Wars: Union
9) A few of the Rogue Squadron comics
Webcomics I'm currently reading:
1) Exiern
2) CTRL+ALT+DEL
3) Penny Arcade
4) Menage a 3
5) Sinfest (duh)
6) Order of the Stick
7) Looking for Group
Unshelved
9) I also still have Bob and George saved to my favorites and like to read through it from time to time.
Webcomics I stopped following:
1) 8-bit Theater: Knew about it, but never started reading until after it ended. Finished it and don't get what the fuss was about, BnG was better.
2) Secret of Mana Theater: Stopped following it when there were no new updates for like, 5 years.
3) Surf-Rat and Spencer: Same as above.
4) DM of the Rings: The comic was finished by the time I came across it.
5) User Friendly: Never really got into it, and then it stopped putting up new strips and went into reruns.
Newspaper Comics I currently read:
1) Dilbert
2) Garfield
3) Foxtrot |

i need to go dig out all my pogo books and read them again - maybe it will remind me that politicians have always been pretty idiotic. _________________ aka: neverscared! |
