No, sadly, I was put off from joining the community back then and just stuck to reading the front page every day. I finally decided to at least try last month and then completely forgot that I even registered. |

certainly it can't be because the forums have either mellowed or become harsher, no fuckin' way

Sort of. Strictly speaking, it's a parody of the cover for I Get Wet using Pinkamena Diane Pie - the depressed/psychokiller alter-ego of Pinkie Pie.
Fun Fact: Andrew WK's favourite pony is Pinkie Pie. He likes her so much, he put her on a shirt. Which is still for sale, I believe.

Another Fun Fact: In "Owl's Well That Ends Well" (Season 1, Episode 24), ketchup was indeed used as a proxy for blood.
It seems my knack for trivia has extended to knowledge of the MLP:FIM universe.
