Like all the other alien visitation strips I don't think they're meant to be understood, just enjoyed.
As for the "feminism" well Granny does seem to have some link to the Sisterhood. We've seen her giving an envelope to Glossy and she made a banner for them. Rambling theories follow:
1: She's Glossy's gradmother. However this is simple and logical, therefore boring.
2: She is the head of the Sisterhood
2a: She and Glossy are the Crone and Maiden aspects of the Triple Goddess, with the White Lady being the Mother. The other Trike Girls are Valkyries which is why they're able to mess with Satan and get away with it. Note that in Glossy's first appearance her trike had a license plate saying "PAGAN MAFIA".

Okay! We'll build a wall with no doors, around the whole city, right? Then we'll put a roof on it! That'll keep out the aliens. It'll be dark inside. Someone get Seymour his night light. And 30 or 40 of those aliens to start building the wall/roof to keep the other aliens out.

It's just the planet's name, not necessarily indicative of its inhabitants.

Still a Trike Girl. And I'm referring to their very first appearance waay back in '07 when they messed with Seymour then dissapeared for a long time. They weren't even IDed as the Sisterhood then.

yeah except for the fact that a) trike girl or not, they're still kind of different people? just because one has such a license plate does not automatically mean that another will too omfg and b) yes they were identified as the sisterhood? or did you miss that little detail?
