|
|
In light of this thread and subsequently this thread, I've decided I wanted an illustrative art thread since the closest thing we have that I'm aware of is the random images thread.
This thread would be for cool stuff you've found on the interwebz, or art that you've done etc
Any theme, any art style.
Just one thing-- it would be nice if people identified the artist/source if it isn't readily apparent from the URL.

John Avon is one of my favorite fantasy landscape artists.

My bf is a big fan of John Avon for his land cards in MTG.
David Mach, mostly known for his head pieces made out of matches, has done this collection of sculptures with wire coat hangers. Kinda looks like they're in motion.

I know what the image name says... but who's the smartass who cast Tommy Lee Jones as Gordon Freeman? _________________ (( Tiogshi Laj :: Average ASCII Artisan And Ambitiously Anachronistic Assonanteur ))

The camera has kind of over-contrasted the colours, which is annoying |

| I think that might be even nicer without the thin blue line. |

You're probably right.
Van Gogh, Derain, et al. have me really conflicted on the whole outline thing. _________________ All our final decisions are made in a state of mind that is not going to last. - Marky Mark Proust |
