dazed: He is doing much better! Thank you for asking. I'm calling the vet Friday just to confirm he seems recovered and we'll finally hopefully get him back onto normal food soon. He doesn't get the financial pain, but he definitely understood the being sick and getting better part, he's quite a sweet kitty ultimately.

Dogen: There are a few dogs that would probably do that but yeah, they would just end up falling asleep in a weird position. My friend has an Italian greyhound who acts more like a cat than my cats do. (They also have a 165lb great dane/german shepard mix and a jack russel terrier. Visiting their house is a blast.) Your kitty is really pretty, his expression is pretty much exactly like how my cats look when they're sitting on each other.

Pint: The only reason I have more chairs than the one I sit in regularly is basically to lure the cats into positions they can sit next to me in that don't interfere with whatever I'm doing. It only sometimes works, lol.

My cat used to sleep inside my backpack. He'd crawl inside, then push everything out onto the floor, then curl up and go to sleep. Thanks, cat!

my girl-cat seems to have given up the laying-on-the-keyboard thing. now when i start working on the computer, she attacks my ankles. she's a hunter, she goes straight for the achilles' tendon.

if she manages to lame me for life, i'm blaming sinfest.

(and dogs will totally just lie there when covered with other critters. we used to have a cat that was deeply attached to the dog. his favorite sleeping place was stretched out over the dog's face. the dog just sighed - and stayed where he was.)

My dogs like to lie on my feet while I'm at my desk. I have to wiggle them loose and move my chair carefully so I don't run over an ear, tail or paw whenever I want to get up.

I know if I had a cat still instead of two corgi dogs, they'd totally do this.

Not surprising that the cat would choose to something warm to lay on as they love that kind of thing. I have a Cintiq, much like I'm sure Tat does now too...and that thing gets WARM. Downright hot actually. I have a nice cloth pinkie glove I wear while working to make it smooth and keep my hand from feeling too warm.

Tat needs an Ergotron arm though. Then your Cintiq can be suspended any angle. Cats have a harder time getting on something hanging off the desk. Very Happy
