You'd think, by now, Big D would've run out of Devil Girls to employ. _________________ Opinions are like ass holes: everybody has them. Devil Corp treats its employees even better than google! _________________ Marriage begins with a man on his knees giving a woman jewelry and asking for permission to do something. They're probably free since they were conjured up with the power of Hokus-Pokus and the tears of innocent children... Deviltech Corp. notwithstanding. _________________ Opinions are like ass holes: everybody has them. Sometimes they're clean... sometimes they stink... and sometimes they're just full of shit. assuming the devil follows the laws of the conservation of mass, that's a lot of innocent child tears. Maybe they were told that santa claus was fake? _________________ Marriage begins with a man on his knees giving a woman jewelry and asking for permission to do something. Considering how many children there are, and how many live in poverty and/or oppression, they probably have more than enough matter to manage it. Especially if you also factor in the tears of brutalized baby animals... man, this pointless theory on the existence of a convenient setting get's dark when you think about it. _________________ DON'T PANIC |

brutalization does not result in tears. brutalization results in severe emotional trauma as well as a general callousing of the mind. Tears require randomly occuring and ever changing sources of pain, all of which varies in intensity to ensure that no resistance is ever truly built up by the mind, which is the usual result of brutalization and oppression, whose constant damage results in a general build up of tolerance. in short I recommend forcing kids to read this forum. _________________ Marriage begins with a man on his knees giving a woman jewelry and asking for permission to do something. This strip seems to imply that being a Devil Club dancer/performer is Phase One of Devil Girl Training, so Cerulean and the other Devil Club dancers/performers are also in line for future promotion to Phase Two employment, which Lime now holds (as presumably does Russet). I guess this means she'll soon be put on Booth Babe duty.
This also strongly implies that that's how Legion was previously acquainted with Blue and Fuchsia, from their days as Phase One employees. Frankly, I liked the idea of the Devil Club having no direct ties to Devil Corp and just being a regular business managed and patronized by Devil People better -- that left storytelling possibilities as to how Blue and Fuchsia came to work there without Devil Corp involvement and thus where other than Devil Corp they might've been before that -- but so it goes. |

Fern is so sweet. I would love it if she was the spy on the inside at some point. _________________ Sinfest Comments Bingo because we like Schadenfreude~ |

Maybe she's just been wandering the halls non-stop since her arrival, camping out on couches when she gets tired. Stately Devil Manor is a big place, after all.
I don't recall right off if the butterfly drones have previously been seen in color or not, but I doubt it's a coincidence that one is blue and the other is pink aka fuchsia. |

Just because i have been drinking I am going to type this out.
Tat's comic(s) are an allegory about awakening yourself. This one uses the example of putting love before yourself. The devil personas are your baser emotions and ego, the 'illumanati' pyramids represent both awakening and the natural way of being. Corrupted yet made new.
His rants about feminism and the patriarchal society in which we now live are well founded. He chooses to caricature the problems he sees in society and use metaphor and allegory to make a statement.
You muppets in here remind me of fundie christians who try to use a literal interpretation of the bible to explain everything. Take a good hard look at yourselves. You might even get what Tat is on about.

For whom? Sinfest isn't exactly 100% either-or.
I'd rather see her stay sort of Benign/Evil, like Fuchsia used to be. Sure, she does evil things but that doesn't necessarily mean she's a bad person. Not within the confines of a comic strip, anyway. |
