I was expecting Jesus to raise Buttbot but this is so cute!
Hmmm, and since Devilbert was able to put him back together again, I suppose raising wasn't necessary in this case, so it's OK.
Abrupt thought:
Will Buttbot now go and scan/admire Jesus' buttocks?
That would be kinda hot. |

What if the Jedis reprogrammed Jesus to assassinate God?[/quote]
That blows my mind.
He's already a walking paradox. How does a paradox solve itself and still retain it's title as a former paradox if it turns out it was never a paradox to begin with?
I tell people that Jesus is a sinner. I've posted the scriptures and everyone reads it in a different context. My favorite one is about how Jesus illegally pirated bread [Causing Jewish bakers and Jewish pig farmers to lose money] even though he tells Satan in a different part of the bible that it's wrong to do. |

He took some bread and made more bread. That's not quite the same thing as turning stones to bread. |

was that the loaves and fishes bit? i thought he was given that bread.
no, according to matthew 14, the disciples had them:
| Quote: | 15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.
18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. |
how is that pirating bread? and where do the pig farmers come into it?

If it were illegal to duplicate bread the way it is to duplicate a film, I guess. But I doubt that was a law then, which would mean he did nothing illegal. Whether his choice was moral is another question, naturally. I'm assuming since he transmitted the word of God, though, he probably knows what is morally right (which forces the question of whether it's right because he does it or if he does it because it's right). _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Well, the disciples had a few loaves and fish--but what was left over was vastly more than what they started with--hence it being considered the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes.
As for "which forces the question of whether it's right because he does it or if he does it because it's right," as I understand it, it's not really either--it's more that what we call "goodness" and "love" and "rightness" are descriptions of His nature, rather than either a set of external laws He is bound by or some sort of ultimately non-moral fiat. |

Of course; we'll ALL regret it if Mikewee responds. This is how I've learned to ignore his posts; now, everytime he says something wacky - that is, everytime he says something - I just roll my eyes and say "Oh, that Mikewee777!" _________________

| For all the talk about Star Wars and Dilbert, it is a little surprising that the reference to the Six Million Dollar Man has gone unacknowledged. (Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability...) Or is it just so obvious that no one bothers to point it out? |
