Of course now I'm imagining D-bert and Trike Girl catching each other's eyes and ... that music from... something romantic when everything goes into slo-mo and people run toward each other, DAH-DAHHHHHH, DAH-DAH-DAH-DAH-DAH-DAHHHHHH, DAH-DAHHHHHH, etc.
Except he looks like he's in his 30s or something and she's like, 12.
Then again, Slick looks like he's 12.

Romance, really? something tells me Trike Girl wants nothing to do with someone that has an y chromosome that isn't attracted to another y chromasome. Just basing that on experinece, most interactions with males have been telling them how they are wrong/giving out restraining orders/telling them to knock it off.
Either that or she is Asexual.
Course before now she's just been a mouthpiece for Tats feminism, so if some character development comes about I'm all for it! |

I'm not sure I'm comfortable calling it the butt bot.
Also, I wonder how much D pays this guy. Seems like he'd probably be doing pretty much the same stuff regardless, though probably with objectives other than spying.

Oh come on. Being asexual doesn't mean you're opposed to romance. Just means you're not interested in sex of any kind. That doesn't mean you won't, ever, of course, but just that you're probably not going to be as into it as someone who is sexual - be it homo or hetero. She's probably not too interested in romance but that doesn't mean she wants nothing to do with it. She's never shown to be opposed to romance - she's opposed to the idea that people have to conform to being something or doing something that maybe they don't want to be or do. Ergo, being coerced into sex, gender roles, the whole madonna/whore complex, ect ect... (I may have had my doubts on the matter at first but that's a completely different matter.)
And keep in mind the fact that she seemed to be perfectly fine with Crim - just gave him more reading material and based on the snippets he read aloud it was mostly positive stuff - who as far as we know, isn't homosexual. (I may or may not thought he was when I first started reading, but what I may or may not have thought isn't exactly canon.)

I said asexual in more or less I haven't seen much emotion out of her since she appeared. She did talk to crim and that was just to give him feminist reading material, the only character she didn't give/ say something about was ... I'm going with Gaylord but I know I'm probably wrong.
But now I know she can be surprised. So she isn't the terminator of feminism I thought she was. |
