| Yeah, I hate to break it to the "neither side is willing to bend" crowd. But the dems have tripped all over themselves bending over backwards for the past four years for nothing. Now I kind of hope they win big and just ram what they want down the republicans throats. |

Even when Democrats offer ideas that were originally Republican ("Obamacare," including the individual mandate now decried by Republicans, used to be their standard), or "compromise" their way into giving Republicans whatever they want. I have a lot of gripes with my party, but failure to compromise isn't one of them. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. | Bending over backwards? All you have to do is toss proposals for the reform of Welfare and other social programs into the ring and watch the blood fly. |

Not offended. Merely reciprocating the displeasure of the other party. Then again I'm not really a Republican, but I side with them a lot more than the Democrats and no one respects libertarians so I just say Republican. |

That's hardly the same thing. If you want to be respected, you may want to begin with standing up for what you really believe in, as opposed to looking for cover under a different label. |

Actually, if you want to be respected, you should begin by not being an idiot.

Libertarianism doesn't get much respect around here either...cause most of us can do math. |

And most libertarians aren't actually libertarian, but republicans that felt the party wasn't far enough right on issues like deregulation and budgets/government spending, so they started calling themselves something new. They're, to steal an idea, LINOs. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth.
