Reading this, I thought: autobio?
Suddenly, some of Tat's retcons begin to make sense to me. The devil people seem like an echo of "yellow devils." He's redefining what the strip is about.
So Li'l E's fanboying of the Devil can represent idolizing organized crime figures or corrupt political figures of one's own race.
And he's actually still (or back to) writing about Christianity, with the devils being really "foreign, unsaved devils."

For the love of fuck, it's not a retcon. There has to be something that was changed for it to be a retcon. Lil'e was never given a back story. Fleshing out a character doesn't make it a retcon. Narratives don't need to be chronological, most of the best aren't.

How is it possible someone made a worst post than Darqcyde calling Magenta 'spunkypants' and then taking it back while leaving the original spunkypants there which is a desperate attempt to either flirt or be the cool uncle and it made me feel sort of queasy but
