Thinks this is a comic from the past though...I could be wrong. I've been debating that for awhile actually. But it seems that way. And probably why he became a hateful little dick for so long. =P

Because they are angry and they don't dare direct thier anger at the true sources of their anger so they pick a vulnerable target. It's a long standing thing that we don't actually teach the children better. We just yell at them and shame them and leave them to figure how to deal with things by themselves. It's been our tradition for many generations. |

He's hacking at the base. That is where the living bone is. It wouldn't have done him good for long anyway. Hornbuds have to be burned off. |

Small, "new" horns are quite soft and fragile, and I am sure they can bleed - maybe that's the case in here.

Well, that was depressing. :-/
In the second panel, the way the first boy's nose is drawn makes him look like Kid Hitler OSLT.
Li'l E has owned (or rented, how the heck should I know) his own house almost since his first appearance. Although short, he is no more a schoolboy than Slick, so this strip is a flashback to way back when.

Uh, no, it's because he's a supernatural being and general biological presumptions don't necessarily apply. I'm guessing.

Devils are still discriminated against, as seen in that one strip where, wait a minute --

-- as seen in this one strip where Fuchsia ventured out into Sinfest City on her own. If anything The Devil probably covertly encourages discrimination against Devils because that (at least in theory) makes Devils more inclined to stay on his side to screw over everybody else (Fuchsia was ready to set the city on fire after about an hour or so of such treatment). Would signs like that really stay up if The Devil wanted them torn down?
