I also believe Obama lost the first debate on purpose so that republicans would waste more money supporting Romney on a dead end presidential campaign rather than spending it on electing and advertising their republican congressman, who could severely hamper Obama if elected.

Yeah, that's true. Being the privileged class has many benefits, including that various stereotypes attributed to other people don't apply to them (us).

To be fair the first one isn't "clever," just competently done.

Also I don't see how the second one is racist. Moronic or misguided, sure. Is "black guys are secretly batman villains" a stereotype of which I was unaware? I thought I was pretty up on the latest trends in racism, given that I live in South Carolina...

the thing that struck me was how often romney agreed with what obama was doing in foreign policy. he explained it in detail, i guess hoping to make people think it was his idea, but it was existing policy. i sorta wished the president had said, just once, "i'm so glad mr. romney supports my policy".
