Perhaps Squig knows he doesn't actually need to sell his soul. He just needs to seem mildly interested and the devil will give him some freebies just to try and snare him (like with Slick).
That might be an overestimation of his intelligence on my part though.

Let's not jump the gun here; despite all of his previous encounters with HellCo, it doesn't look like Squiggy has actually tried to strike a bargain. He's too in-the-moment to care about the future - somewhat ironic, considering that's precisely the trait that HellCo is looking for.
