This is my new favorite strip, wow. It's gorgeous in literally every way possible? For once the reality zone actually LOOKS realistic, I mean, not as realistic as possible, but, still pretty realistic, rather than more... serious-looking, like it has in the past. And for a while Tat's drawn Fuchsia's hair in a way that looks really weird and uncomfortable for me to look at, from my POV, but he didn't in this strip, it looks really soft and pretty, which is something I really like? And lets not even go into all of the detail that you can see when looking in every single panel. Holy fucking shit. Serious art boner. _________________

and we still don't precisely why the reality zone has that effect on her
maybe she really isn't real
but maybe she's really old
or maybe the hellfire really burns _________________ butts |

| I cannot imagine how much it would suck to have something tell you over and over that you aren't real. Fuck the reality zone. I love hating it. Which means I would like to see more. I guess for me it's a great inanimate villain. |

I'm not sure being inanimate and callously neutral qualifies one for villain status.
Definitely a good source of conflict here though _________________ butts |

Wouldn't it be fun if it was? Just sorta thinking out loud.
Either way, it's got to be pretty mentally destructive. Good for Fushia on not being all sad over it and using it instead. |

Looking at that hand.... I'd say yes to the second part. It just took reality a second to catch up to her age |

I'm thinking back to the Sunday Strip where Slick and 'Nique dared D to go into the Reality Zone, at which point he left and ended it. It would be interesting to see is he 'visited' when he was a kid. _________________ "Give a man food, you feed him for a day...

| It's nice to see that there are still a few devil habits in her (flashes of anger). It'd be disappointing to see a character so easily give up all of who she was |

So heres the thing: if you assume that because the devil-people (I guess Succubi?) didn't exist in the reality zone, and neither did the Devil, that this is just a dream, or perhaps an "escape for reality sort of deal". But how does that work with multiple "real" characters inhabiting it? How would multiple people share the same fantasy world? GAH THE CONFUSION.
Also, the art is fucking gorgeous. _________________ Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country did to you |
