Oh, one spoiled brit is asking for a technical lecture, really? 
HTTP Referrer and Browser Cache would be the words.
Clear the cache of your browser to be on common ground - then you'd probably won't see it also.

I don't recall asking for anything. Nor do I want your lecture. And fine I guess I'll just stick to forum emoticons. Or use a proper image host before uploading pics. Not that it's the end of the world to have one failed image. |

| Against Maynar's request (sorry) have changed to an image host upload now, hopefully it works and Arioch can stop being a smug son of a bitch and acting like he's the only person on the internet who knows how to do anything and I'm some 'net noob' he needs to educate. Because I'm not and he doesn't. |

no, completely unrelated things.
Basically when ur browser request file (picture for this case) it also tells which page had the link. In this case - this thread on forum.
Then picture storage refuses the picture, for it only designed to serve its main page - funkysomething.com
Opera provides easy disabling this feature and picture starts showing.
Some other browsers may have some extension for that, or extra "proxy" program might be used, but that is too techy. |

Technically I didn't screw up, I did it right, I just happenned to use an image that can't be hotlinked, whereas most that I use can. Unfortunate choice in pictures is all. Completely not my fault. But I digress, it's not important enough a topic to discuss the hows and wherefores at length. It's fixed now so I'll say no more. |
