Gosh Milton, I didn't know you were a fan of the Sisterhood. |

So much for Milton and Glossy being friends.
And I totally know that feeling when you talk to someone and they know about things you've built or worked on. It' fantastic, like tonic for the ego. |

Well, I mean, they COULD still become friends later on. It's just not going to happen right now. _________________

I don't know what's sadder: Glossy refusing Milton's help on the basis of his contributions to the Patriarchy, or Milton's complete obliviousness to the former. _________________ Opinions are like ass holes: everybody has them. That was mean of her.
No need to be mean to a person who's offering you his help out of good will. I have a big soft spot for Milton. |

I don't think she's really being mean. Maybe a little rude, I suppose. But at the same time, if she knows he's apart of devilcorp - which is run by D-man and is a known supporter and enforcer of the patriarchy - she has no reason to trust him. Especially not with her property.
I mean, what would be stopping him from putting some sort of tracking device or overriding system that could sabotage all of her work? We know he probably wouldn't do that, but she doesn't. _________________

Only if we assume Sinfest has no sentient robots who think for themselves... like our little Zen-zapped flying spybots. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Would you turn down a BMW - because they made planes during WWII ? Or would you only reject a rebuilt Heinkel He 162 Spatz ?
With her high handed "you're not good enough" attitude, I actually find Glossie less human than Milton.
Would she tell Milton to get to the back of the bus? Or would she just try to kick him off? |

Not the same thing. Why? Because of tense. BMW made planes. Past tense. Milton still makes slave robots. Present tense. BMW have about 70 odd years between them and that crime and have probably repented for it. Milton still actively does the Devil's handiwork. No repentance. He's even proud of the fact as you can see by the last panel.
If Milton left the patriachy, went to the Sisterhood side and prooved himself for Glossie with a lot of good deeds that gave her reason to trust him then and only then would she trust him to do mechanic work for her.
Speaking of Milton/Glossie. Theres a remote possibility Milton may have a one-sided crush on Glossie, but definately wouldn't be mutual at this stage. Personally I think it's more polite and platonic interest in similar (or so he thinks) things. The blush in the last panel is clearly pride and not any affection. |

I might turn down the BMW, but I'd definitely take a Heinkel please. |
