Google Scholar, since I was looking for things for other people (as opposed to something like ProQuest or whatever, which is subscription-based). Well, I dunno productive, but it's an interesting experiment. The way I see it, it actively demands that you find counterarguments for yourself, in that way broadening your scope on a topic.
