After trickling out my web strip Weapon Brown over the past few years as I built my graphic novel, my adventure/parody of Charlie Brown after the Apocalypse is now posting four times a week on Whatisdeepfried.com!

Here are the first couple installments. Follow the action as your favorite comic strip stars, from Annie to Ziggy, are "weaponized" as Road Warrior-style mutants and bad asses!

i was about to make a joke about a dark and gritty reboot of Care Bears but since there's already a vast literature of that for My Little Pony it sort of loses its punch

For those who aren't familiar with Death's work:
It's a well drawn, poorly written parody in which Charlie Brown fucks all the hot women from Peanuts. If you just thought, "What hot women were there in Peanuts?" then this comic isn't for you. If you used to jerk it to water-balloon-shaped Lucy, then this comic is for you. Except now the women all look like athletic super models, as one would expect people to look after the apocalypse.

Basically it's gore-porn that clings to the Peanuts parody schtick, despite having nothing to do with Peanuts, in order to entice you to read his stories that evoke the sensation of a head slamming into a keyboard. Either yours after reading it, or the method he used to write it.

I can thank him for one thing. The last time he came here I was introduced to the term "adolescent power fantasy" as it applies to the differences between women's portrayal in comics and dude's portrayal in comics.
