After my long absence from this awesome forum, I thought many of my old pals might have moved on to losing their virginity and raising a brood of kids, leaving no time for forum posting. Fortunately, they haven't! (Or at least they have careers that allow them to respond to comments during the workday's most productive hours! Luckyyyyy!)

Anyway, here is today's Weapon Brown. But first: something special for the people!

hahaha, yes, it is definitely us spending too much time trying to impress you.

I know we said this to you last time, but I still think it would be really helpful for you to start working with a writer. Your attempted burn on Dogen really doesn't hold together, you can't even keep the narrative going in eight panels of trolling.

also, Weapon Brown SHOULD be fun. Why is it so boring?

Touched a nerve, did I? I hear getting into flame wars is good for artists, though. Look how well it worked for Scott Adams. Of course he had the benefit of being successful before he became a forum troll...

Anyway, feel free to keep making comics starring me! Someday in the future people will find them online and say, "Jason who?"

You know what, death ray? You have the artistic and comedic skills to be a political cartoonist. Not for one of the better papers, mind.

People are productive at all hours of the day. In fact, the M-F 9-5 bankers hours week was a myth for most people even back when it was more common.

I kind of expect an "artist" to understand that.

Not to mention we live all around the world in differing time zones.

Either way the myth of "most productive hours" depends entirely on your job, and how much dealing with people all around the world you do.

Man, you know what else? Even his return to spamming/half hearted trolling is boring this time.

You're meant to get more interesting, Jason, not less. MORE. INTERESTING.

I mean, what possible reason could you be here for other than to entertain us? Why are you so fucking miserably boring?

i would find this a lot funnier if Weapon Brown wasn't literally a word-for-word reenacting of the Darker and Edgier trope, played without shame, without irony, without self-awareness, without evident writing talent, and thus without success

i mean come on man, if you're going to come to the forum of a more successful and talented artist and pathetically hock your wares to an audience that has already kindly asked you to go die in a grease fire, at least do it on the back of something with even a pretense of originality to it

Its just fucking inappropriate, you want to hock your comic you do it through the comics creator.

People do it all the time.

When I responded before I was wasting the most productive hours of the day reading Nate Silver's book in a coffee shop, listening to a guitar trio. I was posting from my phone, so it was short. I just wanted to point out...

That explains a lot. You got spanked so hard last time, when we mocked your job as assistant adjunct professor of cartooning, that you literally waited years before coming back in the hopes none of us would still be around to haunt you. That you didn't manage to become successful on your own merits between the last time you tried to hitch your wagon to Tat and now is unsurprising. Sad, but unsurprising.
