Aren't their sunglasses/goggles "patriarchy blockers"? i.e. protection from a completely different threat? |
Maybe in a future strip, a Sisterhood girl will trick Slick into putting on a pair of patriarchy blockers instead of his usual sunglasses.

It very probably is, since the meaning of the name is blonde-haired, and Tat’s given you a clue by putting ‘the golden child’ as the epigram. Also, one of the three figures in classical Greek mythology with that name was one of the Amazons, i.e. female warriors, which fits in with the idea of the Sisterhood.
Anyway, seeing as my normal pseudonym elsewhere is Xanthë I thought I might as well snaffle an account before someone else gets the bright idea. (I was going to do so last Friday when I saw the strip where Xanthe and Tess get named, but my Internet connection was doing silly things.) |
