No blacksmith is ever happy with just one hammer. Some will be peen hammers, some lump hammers, some specialized hammers for things like riveting in tight spaces or chasing patterns into the metal's surface, etc. Heck, one guy I knew kept an ash baseball bat in his hammer rack; swore it was dead perfect for tightening the bolsters on knives! _________________ I am only a somewhat arbitrary sequence of raised and lowered voltages to which your mind insists upon assigning meaning |

Well, yeah, but a lump hammer doesn't exactly scream "blacksmith" to me. _________________ butts |

but the toaster was whimpering in pain! that was surely more than a mere poke. besides, if you were trying to deal with a back-talking toaster when you felt like shit and just wanted to get some toast inside you, would you just poke it? no, she was full-on swinging that hammer.
and i don't know that we need to add screaming hammers to the mix.
although i'm sure dennis could do it. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Well, if Dennis is like his avvie, I can see your point. But I really doubt our resident Aussie bohemian bookseller is also a fictional East Berlin transgender rock singer who goes by the name Hansel Schmidt. _________________ I am only a somewhat arbitrary sequence of raised and lowered voltages to which your mind insists upon assigning meaning |

if playwrights were limited to writing only about themselves, how limited our theatrical options would be. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Pretty sure Dennis didn't write Hedwig and the Angry Inch, BUT I really wouldn't put something like that past him and I haven't watched the credits lately, so ya never know. _________________ Samsally the Gray |

It's so rare I actually know what obscure movie is being referenced I had to say -something-. _________________ Samsally the Gray |

The more I read this thread the more I keep thinking of the scene in Office Space where they beat the ever loving shit out of that printer. _________________ Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country did to you |
