She may be fake, but you can't help but feel sorry for the poor thing. She is designed to be controlled, but is naturally uncomfortable with being controlled/owned by a stranger... I'm curious how this will end up; she obviously isn't in the "zone" anymore, but she is still on autopilot.
The ideal situation would be her choosing an owner, but without her remote, how would that work? Maybe I'm too creepy to see the obvious solution? It would be wrong to deactivate her IMO. |

She's asked for tech support; send her back to Milton and see what he can do for her. If he's got a conscience, then maybe he'll invest some time and effort into making her truly autonomous. If not, well, he'll rebuild her remote control, re-package her, and sell her to someone else so she can be controlled as per her design specification. Maybe he'll even run thorough enough diagnostics to find the components overstressed by her experience in the Reality Zone, replace those components, and design in a few safeguards and overloads to prevent such situations from arising in the future.
But I think Tat's trying to prove something about free will, so I doubt our rogue fembot is about to get the technical assistance she needs anytime soon. _________________ I am only a somewhat arbitrary sequence of raised and lowered voltages to which your mind insists upon assigning meaning |

| He could be arguing that some need to have outside control. There certainly are women and some men that need to be dominated... Or I could be mistaken. |

Or perhaps he's noting that autonomy and the need for help from others are not mutually exclusive. _________________ Deviant Art | Twitter | Tumblr |

| I don't think receiving orders has anything to do with autonomy, other than choosing who to accept orders from. I don't think needing help is comparable to needing outside control. |

I think people are looking for deeper meaning, that so far isn't there.
I think it was just a joke that she went through too much randomness. _________________ Have a Nice Day |

I agree with Adyon. The next comic or the other one, dealing with tech support, may have a deep, moral meaning. Remember the fascinating chat we had about the Kara video? Well that's exactly the problem that Milton may have to deal with here. I can't help but to wonder what will happen. _________________ Welcome to the Sinfest forum! If it was not clear, I agree, the significance has yet to be revealed; what will Morality God Ishida tell us? |

You mean, like - comparing Tech Support to a Doctor?
For true advancement, Milton could liaise with Glossy [Xanthe] 's repair mechanic to give Ms Fembot full autonomy.
In a tip to the Wizard of Oz, one [Milton?] would give her a Brain, while the other gives her a Heart.
Then she needs the bravery of the Cowardly Lion to reject the Devil / Patriarchy. _________________

He also offered to fix xanthe's bike free of charge out of being helpful, though he asked again after being rejected so that made him an arrogant patriarchal problem... But still... _________________ The Master of Toast! |
