i dunno, if you want to complain about the likes of bugbrennan, have at it. that's complaining about feminists (or rather, a particular feminist)

it's when you pretend that bugbrennan stands for all feminists or for feminism itself that you run into problems.

then again, part of the problem on Sinfest is that often people don't even understand what we're saying, let alone what "feminists in general" say.

Of course people understand. Feminists are saying that they want to turn the world into a matriarchy in which all men are slaves and have to wear dresses, and bros will be executed by a vicious police state.

See? We do understand (if you don't believe me ask me).

Dresses seem like they could be really nice in hot weather.

I, for one, am in favor of the mandatory dresses for men.

I'm also in favor of a ban on monster trucks.

I could get behind the execution of bros. There's a guy in the micro lab who starts every sentence with, "bro," or, "dude," and I pretty much want to stab him in the eye with an inoculating loop every time.

Oh my god people actually say "bro" unironically?

Though I probably am not one to talk, I do say dude a lot.

His typical disfluency is to say, "like, bro..." As in, "Bro, I was out fishing, right? And I got this bite on my line, like, bro... and it turned out to be this humongous whatever the fuck kind of fish we have in Washington (this quote went awry)."

I'm typically a pretty tolerant person... I think it's the repetition that bothers me. The same thing happened in a thread where the word "feels" came up about 10 times on one page.

No, no. You see, a feminist could say 'Kill all men!' but an egalitarian would have to say 'Kill all regardless of gender!' There is a clear difference there. In Sinfest, we have "Kill all men!" at least twice (2013-05-09 and 2013-04-12). I would prefer a message of gender equality to gender imbalance, which is what makes me an egalitarian and still able to whine about feminists/masculists.

Does that include free Brain Bleach for all those people who shave the misfortune to see a bunch of fat middle-aged men wearing miniskirts?

I'm not a big advocate of brain bleach. Generally complaining and seeking out brain bleach just makes the incident worse. Certainly don't waste your brain bleach on that. If it doesn't pack any real visceral punch (and often even then), you can get used to it, break the conditioning that made you react adversely to it in the first place.

Save your brain bleach for the really nasty things.

I agree with my good friend Micius here in my perfectly serious thread about complaints about feminist sinfest. If women were really interested in equality, they would stop parading me around on a leash and heels or at least uncuff my arms once in a while.

psh, dames
