stripeypants: From what I got from the various articles, it wasn't the act itself that was seen as a turn on, more so it was about the gesture of sharing the house work, being more considerate, etc. Also, women having the fantasy of 'their significant others doing household chores' could almost be called a cliche.

Honestly, what got me about Daddy D-man more than anything is the fact that he's taking care of Lil' E.

Also I need to get myself married to that not-D-Man devil guy asap.

Oh, okay. That makes sense, I've also always figured that if both parties share the work, then neither should be too tired for sex. I don't know what to make of the link I posted - and I'm curious what the findings would be for unmarried couples as well, since a lot of people are cohabiting without marriage.

At least he didn't call it "porn for ladies." There's a book out there that actually does, even though the images in it could be called pinup at the most extreme.

I recall an actual porn magazine made by and for women, but for some reason it wasn't able to be published. Someone in the chain decided it shouldn't be published (or imported?), because women would find such images offensive. I may try to find this, but I am pretty sure google is not going to be much help.

edit: It might have been Sweet Action Magazine, but I heard about it five or more years ago in college, so no way to be sure.

There's Filament! 'the thinking woman's porn mag' was the tagline, I believe. It had penis. And Yaoi photoshoots.

I never understood the deal with yaoi, and why it appeals to some people, especially females. Even though I could say "double the guys, double the fun", it's not even nearly as close to normal as yuri could get. Due to the nature of the actual intercourse.
I personally am not a fan of yuri either, though.
Question of the day, is this a legitimate place to discuss that, or would I violate a 18+ rule? Embarassed

There is no 18+ rule and almost zero moderation on this forum.

By all means tell us how you think sex works.

Er, are you talking about gay porn in general or the Japanese genre specifically (with its tendency toward "seme" and "uke" stereotypes)? I agree that stereotypical "yaoi" is annoying and unrealistic, but to say all gay male romances are unrealistic is just stupid.

Or to say that hetero ladies can't have sex with their male partners like some gay men have sex with their male partners.

Some women actually do like anal. Don't go assuming that all do, but don't assume that all don't either. So there can actually be some analogous (haha, see what I did there?) mapping of one's self into the act.

Also, there's this kind of fascinating little article, which is relevant to this point, and the convo as a whole at this point:

Just gender-flip this and there's your appeal, as you first assumed.

Also... wha... "actual intercourse?" Do you mean heterosexual penis-in-vagina sex? Because the whole point of being gay is that heterosexual sex isn't your cup of tea. And it's not like heterosexual couples can't do a lot of the things gay couples do, so a woman could easily like something depicted in gay porn.

...But seriously, basic math. If a woman likes men, she might want to see more than one of them in her porn, and if she isn't attracted to women, it's easier for her to enjoy the video/book/etc. if a woman isn't present.
