I don't remember there being underage girls in the softcore porn thread. Granted, I never posted in that thread, but I would think I'd hear about it. That sort of info tends to get around.

Given that it was a 100+ page thread full of nudes collected from the internet, there is a good chance that there were a couple of underage women on there. The insinuation that it was a pedo-playground though ...

The last time I was really active on this forum I was an argumentative fucking troll. Yes, there were a lot of people in this group I cared about, but I was clearly not in the best mental space to be actively communicating with anyone. I won't say that I had the decency, because I know that's not what I had, but I had the sense to back the fuck off for a while and get my life together before popping back up here. That was years ago and I've definitely learned how not to be a complete ass to people, whether I care about them or not. I've come back to this forum and I didn't get one "glad you are back" and I doubt that anyone was happy to see me come back, nor should they have been given the complete ass I made of myself. But, in the time that I have been back not one person has even insinuated that I should fuck off and that seems like progress to me.

I don't really know you. All I can see is the way that you act on this forum which is certainly unpleasant for those involved and cannot be good for you either. It is with complete understanding and sympathy that I say that the best thing you can do right now is leave and stay gone until you are more interested in listening to others than what you have to say.

You're just trolling now.

You know damn well the creepiest things that all of you condoned was the soft porn thread that featured "artsy" nude pics of underage girls.

That thread existed right until I complained about it loudly, which tat noticed and deleted himself.

Many people became angry at me for doing so.

But I will never be sorry for doing what is right and speaking my mind.

this is complete bullshit. i know who the child porn apologists are, and they're not here. most in attendance even spoke up against clothed "jailbait" pictures.

i will add "slander" to your list of conspicuous and pathological habits if i see another example.

Oh, gross. I'd like to know who they are so I can make them unwelcome if they ever come back.

I am happy you are back. Smile

And I am grateful to hear it. I still submit that I was downright unpleasant to deal with when I was last active here.

Meh, we all have our off-times. When I first joined Sinfest so long ago, it took me months and months to make my fist post because I was so afraid of some of the people. Graeme included, he was such a jerk at times. Laughing

It wasn't until I made 'Desire' that I started really posting and getting to know people. Originally, this nick was created just for an RP party or something on the forum. But it stuck.

I don't personally remember you being unpleasant to me, but I do remember you being nice to me often. I can't speak for others though.

like remember when I said this:

Quote:
yeah Silk Road is such a large part of bitcoin right now that anything that really seriously hit silk road would also impact bitcoin to the extent that it is (i believe) the largest single price impacting factor for this 'currency'

this might totally prove that wrong. I forgot to factor in Mt. Gox as a discrete entity, which handles about 80% of all bitcoin trade. stuff happening to IT could easily be the largest single price impacting factor for bitcoin.

This is going to feed a number of libertarian conspiracy theories.

That happened the second the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission said they were thinking about regulating Bitcoins like the commodities they are.

The warrant that seized dwolla funds from MTGOX surfaced.

Warrant is based on probable cause that a company registered in Delaware, Mutum Sigilum LLC, was acting as a money transmitting business. Was not properly registered as required by US law, and that the owner (same guy who owns MTGOX) lied on a bunch of banking applications.

I don't buy the conclusion that BitCoin is moving towards legitimacy, but this news will at least make the money laundering a bit harder.
