Not sure if this was posted, but the Germans also say the money is not so funny: http://rt.com/news/bitcoin-germany-recognize-currency-641/

I'm really surprised that Bitcoin only fell $20 so far.

Although I suppose Black Market Reloaded is still open, so the traffic might have just shifted there instead.

Part of Baidu has begun accepting Bitcoins.

Bitcoins have completely erased the 20% drop suffered earlier this month after U.S. law enforcement authorities shut down the drug-dealing website Silk Road.

That's just a web service that handles the bitcoins for property management companies for "a small fee".

Hooray i can live in a crackhouse/hostel with my bitcoins! If i want to live in san francisco!

Literally everything that lets you do the things people do with real money is handled through an intermediary that converts your bitcoin into something businesses can actually use "for a small fee".

Service economy indeed.

Which is fine if you don't mind paying people to convert it to real currency any time you need to get your hands on the basic necessities of life.

remember when Bitcoins were worth like 70 bucks?

seems like getting rid of the silk road only further legitimized it as a currency

plus, having it advertised on cable TV didn't hurt either

Thy once again quintuples his investment

probably gonna sell some if/when it reaches 400, then rinse and repeat

this sure is fun
